The concept "CINE FANTOM" exists already for more than 20 years since first edition of cinematic magazine-self edit "CINE FANTOM" appeared headed by Editor-in-chief Igor Aleinikov. First "CINE FANTOM" was connected to activity of Russian cinema underground – legendary movement of parallel cinema. From middle 90ies "CINE FANTOM" is cinema club that unites independent cinematographers and actual artists. Today it is a popular place where cinema art and live critic thought meet. The principle of the cinema club’s existence is demonstration of audio-visual works and biding discussion of the reviewed program with author.
From autumn of 2004 till today cinema club "CINE FANTOM" continues its mission of popularization and studing cinema as art. Spectators have a possibility to speak and express their opinion, to take part in discussion with author after the review. In cinema club were presented works of such authors as: I. Khrzhanovskiy - "4" (pre-premier review), R. Litvinova - "Goddes: how I fell in love" (premier), E. Yufit (retrospective), M. Masao (producer of Japanese anime), D. Vetrov (program was presented of cinematologist A. Deryabin), S. Loznytsa.
During the time of its existence  "CINE FANTOM" presented programs of Russian independent - parallel - and modern cinema in many cities of the world. Especially its worth to notice that grandiose program "Days of CINE FANTOM" was presented on 35^th Rotterdam cinema festival, 17^th festival "Cinemataurus" in Sochi and special program of the club "CINE FANTOM" on IV Festival of Russian cinema in Latvia.
