Ukrainians by origin, in spirit, in actions
Unfortunately, human collective memory tends to be rather short.
Who are we? What are we made of? What do we know about our past?
Who are those people who left their mark on human history?
We all have our own destiny and we are judged by our deeds.
The project's objective is to introduce to the masses the names and lives of distinguished Ukrainians: artists and men of science, people who dedicated tr knowledge, their talents and their lives to their country and, therefore, to civilization as a whole.
Some names came as a revelation to the authors of the project, and those names in particular compelled them to convey to the world the stories of those who might and should be considered the quintessence of everything Ukrainian.
The creative works of the students of Professor Vladimir Lesnyak's workshop don't merely portray the images of the renowned Ukrainians; they also depict the way the students themselves perceive these eminent historical characters.
The authors of the project believe that those who shaped our history will not leave the viewers indifferent to their faces, their works and their stories, hoping that with this project our collective memory might become just a little longer.
