Chamber choir «Credo» is created in 2002. Artists of the choir are graduators and students of music institutes of Ukraine. Head of collective is laureate of L. Revutzkyi prize, winner of Grand Prize of III All Ukrainian contest of choir conductors Bogdan Plish.
In repertoire of choir there are works of sacred and secular music of different epochs, styles, countries and also folklore music. In five years of concert activity the collective presented more than a hundred premiere performances. The choir was touring in Russia, Poland, Germany, Italy and was invited to participate in numerous international festivals. Chamber choir “Credo” is a winner of 24th International sacred music contest “Highnuvka-2005” (Poland).
In the process of preparation to VII Moscow Easter Festival «Credo» turned to Ukrainian and Russian composers with suggestion to write Easter liturgy where each one of the authors would write one of the numbers and also tropar of Easter “Christ is Risen”.
Canon, Easter Times and Easter “antiphon” liturgy were created as the result of the joint creative work.
